At SteelHorse Equipment, we aim to make the warranty claim process as clear and efficient as possible while setting realistic expectations for heavy equipment and attachments.

Warranty Claim Requirements

To initiate a warranty claim, photo and/or video documentation is required.

Please email the following to our support team:

• Clear photos or videos of the issue

• Photos showing the overall condition of the equipment or attachment

• Original order number and serial number (if applicable)

Warranty claims cannot be processed without proper documentation.

Shipping for Warranty Parts

SteelHorse Equipment will cover the cost of standard ground shipping or standard LTL freight for approved warranty parts shipped from our warehouse to the customer.

• Expedited shipping services are not covered under warranty

• Expedited shipping may be arranged at the customer’s expense upon request

Warranty Coverage by Product Type

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, the following coverage applies:

Hydraulic Cylinders

• Covered for 1 year (parts only)

• Disassembly voids warranty

• Submit a warranty claim before attempting any repair

• If confirmed defective, the cylinder will be replaced

• Defective cylinders must be returned at the customer’s expense

• If the cylinder is found non-defective, the customer is responsible for return shipping and replacement costs

Hydraulic Breakers

• 1-year parts-only warranty

• Disassembly voids warranty

• Bent or broken tools, chisels, or wear components are not covered

Brush Cutters (All Models)

• 1-year parts-only warranty

• Disassembly of blade carrier, housing components, or motor voids warranty

Grapples

• 1-year parts-only warranty

• Faulty hydraulic cylinders are covered (do not disassemble)

• Bent tines or bent cylinders are not covered

Hoses, Couplers, and Hydraulic Connections

• Hose length and routing vary by machine and are the responsibility of the end user

• Proper hose routing is required to prevent pinching, crushing, or abrasion

• Damage caused by improper routing or installation is not covered

• Standard couplers are provided; compatibility with every machine is not guaranteed

Hydraulic Motors

• 1-year parts-only warranty

• Disassembly voids warranty

• Blown seals are not covered

• Motors must be returned for inspection before replacement approval

Stump Grinders

• 1-year warranty on parts only

• Disassembly of housing components or motor voids warranty

• Broken or worn teeth are not covered

Sheds and Equipment Shelters

• 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects

• Modifications or improper installation void warranty

• Designed for temporary outdoor storage only

• Not rated for heavy snow loads, high winds, or extreme weather

• Customers are responsible for verifying suitability for local conditions

Other Attachments

All other attachments not specifically listed above are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects only.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or human error

• Bent tines, bent cylinders, or structural damage from impact

• Normal wear items including blades, teeth, cutting edges, hoses, seals, filters, and belts

• Cosmetic damage such as paint scratches or fading

• Products that have been modified, altered, or repaired by unauthorized parties

• Environmental damage or acts of nature

SteelHorse Equipment reserves the right to decline warranty claims at its discretion if conditions are not met.

Warranty Ownership and Eligibility

• Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from SteelHorse Equipment

• Proof of purchase is required

• Products purchased through third parties, resellers, or auction sites are not covered and are sold as-is

Limitation of Liability

SteelHorse Equipment, its owners, employees, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, downtime, lost profits, or revenue resulting from the use or inability to use our products.

This warranty is provided in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
